JORDAN BOXING ASSOCIATION

The Jordanian Amateur Boxing Association was established in 1970 and took the Al-Mahatta Youth Center as its headquarters and training center. Before 1970, boxing was part of the Jordanian Association for Weightlifting, Bodybuilding, Wrestling, and Boxing.

During those years, the federation actively worked on forming the national team and participated in several Arab and Asian championships, winning gold, silver, and bronze medals. In 1980, the federation played a key role in the establishment of the Arab Amateur Boxing Association. Additionally, in 1975, the Jordanian Amateur Boxing Federation became a member of both the International Boxing Association and the Asian Boxing Association.
